L’ACCIAIO PRENDE FORMA DALLE IDEE LOCAL GLOBAL
“Forma” è il nome del Carattere Tipografico che si è
voluto usare per questo Company Profile.
Praticamente coetaneo della F.lli Perin, “Forma” nasce
a metà degli anni ’60 del secolo scorso voluto dalla
torinese Fonderia Nebiolo come risposta italiana
alla scuola svizzera dei famosissimi caratteri lineari
Helvetica e Univers.
Ideato da un team di designer fra cui ricordiamo Aldo
Novarese e Bruno Munari, Forma è l’espressione
dell’Italia del ”boom economico” che guarda alla cultura
internazionale inserendovi tutta la propria capacità e
inventiva.
Per tutto questo, “Forma” è stato scelto per
simboleggiare e raccontare la storia e il futuro della F.lli
Perin.
‘Forma’ (Italian for ‘shape’) is the name of the typeface
that we have chosen for this Company Profile.
Of the same generation as F.lli Perin, ‘Forma’ was born
in the mid-60s at the Turinese Nebiolo type foundry as
an Italian response to the Swiss school of the famous
linear typefaces Helvetica and Univers.
Conceived by a team of designers including Aldo
Novarese and Bruno Munari, Forma is the expression
of the Italy of the ‘economic boom’, which draws
inspiration from an international culture while
employing all its ability and inventiveness.
For all this, ‘Forma’ has been chosen to symbolize and
tell the story and future of F.lli Perin.

Tutto cominciò nel 1960 quando Giovanni Perin,
It all started…
forte di studi e di esperienze di settore, decise
di avviare la propria attività divenendo ben
presto il punto di riferimento per quel “Distretto
Industriale”, la Inox Valley, che nel frattempo si
stava sviluppando in Veneto, fra le province di
Treviso e Belluno.
Oggi, giunta alla terza generazione, la F.lli Perin srl
è leader mondiale nella lavorazione dell’Acciaio The Founder
Inox per la produzione di componenti per Giovanni Perin
grandi impianti nel settore Ho.Re.Ca., comunità,
industria e arredamento.
Una storia aziendale di successo capace di
ben coniugare l’esperienza del “fondatore” con
la ricerca e lo sviluppo tecnologico, prestando
speciale attenzione alle relazioni e garantendo
una filiera tutta “Made in Italy”.
It all started in 1960, when Giovanni Perin, armed
with knowledge and experience in the sector,
decided to start his own business and soon
became the reference point for that ‘Industrial
District’, the Inox Valley, which in the meantime
was developing in Veneto, between the
provinces of Treviso and Belluno.
Today, in its third generation, F.lli Perin srl is a
world leader in the processing of stainless steel
for the production of components for large
systems in the Ho.Re.Ca., community, industry,
and furniture sectors.
A success story for a company that is capable
of combining the experience of the ‘founder’

estrapolati dal contesto del loro comune utilizzo,
in vere opere d’arte concettuale.
E’ al grande artista che abbiamo voluto ispirarci
nel pensare un oggetto che fosse espressione
della nostra realtà, dove la più alta tecnologia
si abbina a una creatività portata all’estremo. E’
così che uno stampo per una normale piastra
“Quattro Fuochi”, se rovesciato, può diventare un
innovativo piatto “gourmet” a cui abbiamo dato
valenza estetica con uno speciale trattamento
sottovuoto ad alta temperatura.
Il Piatto Gourmet in acciaio colorato è stato
presentato in anteprima a HostMilano 2019
all’interno del nostro progetto di cucina
internazionale “Local>Global”.
Marcel Duchamp in 1917, by inventing the ‘Ready-
Mades’, transformed everyday objects, taken
away from the context of their ordinary use, into
true conceptual artworks.
It is from the great artist that we wanted to draw
inspiration for the design of an object that would
be an expression of our company, where the
highest technology combines with a creativity
taken to the extreme. This is how a mould for a
normal 4-burner stove, if turned upside down,
can become an innovative ‘gourmet’ plate to
which we have given aesthetic value with a
special high-temperature vacuum treatment.
The coloured steel Gourmet Plate was
previewed at HostMilano 2019 as part of our
‘Local> Global’ international cuisine project.
