35 YEARS OF
GLAMOUR AND HUMOUR.
È il 1982 quando, grazie all’intuizione dei due fratelli Manfred e Peter Erlacher,
Chervò fa il suo ingresso nel mondo dell’abbigliamento sportivo. Nato inizialmente
come brand per lo sci, agli inizi degli anni ‘90 conquista i golfisti di tutto il mondo
rivoluzionando il modo di vestire sul green. Non più capi convenzionali e rigorosi,
ma una moda più disinvolta capace di proporre tessuti altamente tecnologici
per le grandi performance, ma anche linee fashion in perfetto stile made
in Italy. Da allora Chervò è rimasto fedele alla sua indole originale e fuori dagli
schemi diventando il simbolo della moda chic&tech anche lontano dal campo
di gioco. Un marchio di rottura che propone, di stagione in stagione, collezioni
innovative e raffinate al tempo stesso; capi tecnologici e di grande design che
sanno lasciare il segno in ogni occasione.
In 1982, brothers Manfred and Peter Erlacher established the Chervò sports clothing
brand. Initially established as a skiing brand, in the early nineties it won over golfers
worldwide, revolutionising the way of dressing on the green -no longer the traditional,
stuffy attire of yesteryear, but a more casual fashion combining all-Italian style with
highly technical fabrics, for truly optimal performance. Since then, Chervò has remained
true to its original, unconventional character, becoming the symbol of chic&tech
fashion, both on and off course.

Estate 2018. Ostuni, la città bianca. Un groviglio di stradine
tortuose. Un susseguirsi di piazzette, ringhiere barocche, vicoli,
palazzi in calce e corti. È qui, su questa “candida tela”, che
Chervò ha raccontato, in un gioco di contrasti, la nuova
collezione primavera/estate 2018.
Capi e accessori contemporanei ricchi di colore e stampe che
rendono omaggio alla tradizione mediterranea. Ad interpretare
lo stile autentico e non convenzionale di Chervò sono, ancora una
volta, un uomo e una donna forti e determinati che riflettono, nei
gesti, la creatività e l’estro che da sempre fanno parte del DNA del
brand. Perché il golf è gioco e fantasia da vivere anche fuori dal campo.
Summer 2018. The White City of Ostuni. A tangle of winding streets. A
succession of baroque railings, squares, alleyways, limestone palaces
and courtyards. It is here, on this "white canvas", that Chervò reveals
its Spring/Summer 2018 collection, in a striking play of contrasts.
Colourful, contemporary garments and accessories that pay tribute to
the Mediterranean tradition.
The interpretation of the genuine, unconventional style of Chervò is
entrusted once again to a strong and determined man and woman,
whose gestures reflect the brand’s intrinsic creativity and flair. Because
golf is not just a game; it is also a state of mind, on and off course.

La cinta muraria di Ostuni fu eretta
durante il periodo Aragonese. Queste
possenti mura difensive, intervallate da
torrioni circolari, ancora oggi proteggono
come una perla preziosa la parte più antica
del paese chiamata, dagli ostunesi, “la
Terra”. Due le porte ancora in uso che
permettono l’accesso al centro storico;
un groviglio di strette stradine, vicoli
lastricati, gradini e scalinate intervallati
da slarghi e piazzette di rara bellezza.
The walls of Ostuni were built by the
Aragonese. To this day, these mighty
defensive structures, interspersed with
circular towers, protect the oldest part
of the town - known by the locals as “la
Terra”, or the Earth - like a precious pearl.
Two gateways still grant access to Ostuni’s
historical centre, comprising a tangle
of narrow streets, paved alleyways and
stairways, interspersed with squares and
plazas of rare beauty.

AZULEJOS
TEXTURE
“Azulejo” è una parola araba («al zulaycha») che significa
“piccola pietra levigata” e indica una particolare piastrella
decorativa in ceramica e smalto. Il modo in cui gli arabi
impiegavano gli Azulejos per ornare i pavimenti di palazzi
e case piacque in particolar modo ai sovrani portoghesi
e questo tipo di decorazione finì per svolgere un ruolo
importante nell’architettura a partire dal XV secolo.
Oggi il termine Azulejos è sinonimo di tradizione, eleganza e
raffinatezza in tutto il mondo.
“Azulejo”, from the Arabic term “al zulaycha” meaning “small
polished stone”, is a painted ceramic tile. Used by the Arabs to
decorate the floors of their palaces and mansions, Azulejos tiles
were adopted by the sovereigns of Portugal and, from the 15th
century onwards, came to play an important role in architecture.
Today, the word Azulejos is synonymous with tradition, elegance
and refinement worldwide.
