Meet
the smallest glass tessera worldwide.

TILLA® is the smallest glass tessera worldwide created thanks to the brand’s unique
proprietary technology.
Each TILLA® is composed of 17 nanolayers of metals and pigments which are applied under a
surface of especially transparent glass. The use of special patented nanotechnology makes
it possible for Mutaforma to create a unique material with superior brilliance and colour
vibrancy. With TILLA® micro tesserae, we creates exquisitely detailed wall decorations, floor
coverings and artistic objects. Each of the brand’s signature “glass skins” has a bespoke
format and a specific number of TILLA® micro tesserae, based on the individual design project.

Our all-Italian manufacturing plant operates based on a proprietary process that ranges
from the processing of the individual TILLA® glass tesserae to their assembly on special
flexible supports simplifying installation of the mosaic.
The process highlights the brand’s manufacturing know-how and reaffirms its strong
bonds with the ancient art and craft of mosaic work, resulting in a novel and internationally
acclaimed covering material for interior design applications.

dal trattamento della singola tessera in vetro TILLA® fino all’assemblaggio sugli speciali supporti
flessibili che ne agevolano la posa in opera.

technological research, know-how and creativity, we are committed to enhance mosaic
by transforming it into a new hyper- technological material, the renewed symbol of a
millennial artistic tradition.

by Matteo Cibic.
Matteo Cibic is an Italian transmedia artist and
designer. He is known for his objects with hybrid
functions and anthropomorphic and joyful shapes.
He works indiscriminately with industrial processes
and small artisans, for luxury brands, collectors
and hi-tech companies. Matteo is an international
award winning designer, and his work is published
internationally. He has been awarded International
Young Talent of the Year 2017 by Elle Décor.

Progetta oggetti e spazi dalle funzioni ibride e inaspettate.
Lavorando a stretto contatto con artigiani d’eccellenza si
occupa dell’ideazione e la sperimentazione con oggetti
fuori scala dalle forme e materiali inediti.
Nel 2017 è stato premiamo da Elle Décor come Young

Gunilla Zamboni (Gupica) in 2010 founded Gupica,
a creative studio that develops projects through
multi-disciplinary methods such as: decorative
arts, interior design, product design, traditional
handcrafts and modern techniques.
She evolves projects for private clients and
companies with her creative vision. Her attention
to detail and the combination of contemporary
and traditional codes characterize her projects.

Lo studio creativo realizza progetti servendosi di un metodo
multidisciplinare che coinvolge arti decorative, design di
interni e di prodotto, sperimentazione contemporanea e

air of a true artisan.
