PARACADUTE
...il paracadute che Leonardo ha ideato è a forma di piramide a base quadrata ed è descritto come “ una tela di
                                       tessuto spesso”; più precisamente una
                      struttura coperta da tela di lino che non deve presentare aperture. La
                      semplicità quasi sorprendente di questo dispositivo mette in risalto le
                     possibilità legate al suo utilizzo. Leonardo afferma, infatti, che grazie al
                  “paracadute” l'uomo “potrà gettarsi da ogni grande altezza senza farsi male”.
 Il paracadute è concepito non come un sistema di sicurezza ma come un sistema planare e perciò deve essere
               menzionato tra i vari progetti che riguardano “il volo senza il movimento delle ali”

                                           PARACHUTE
              …the parachute that Leonardo designed is in the shape of a pyramid with a square
            base and is described as "a thick fabric canvas"; more precisely, a structure covered
                by linen that must not have openings. The almost surprising simplicity of this
                device highlights the possibilities associated with its use. As a matter of fact
               Leonardo affirms that, thanks to the “parachute, man “shall be able to jump from any
                great altitude without hurting himself”. The parachute is conceived not as a
              safety system but a gliding system and is therefore to be mentioned among the
                        various projects concerning “flight without wing movement”

PARAPENDIO
..il parapendio è una macchina ideata da Leonardo per il volo, a profilo alare, progettato per decollare
                   utilizzando le spinte della energia del vento e la forza della gravità

                profile, designed to take off using the thrusts of wind energy and the
                                           force of gravity

IGROMETRO SCRIVENTE
      ...Il modello è costituito da una leggera struttura di sostegno che sorregge due piatti di terracotta
(muovibili orizzontalmente per far si che si raggiunga il perfetto equilibrio ed allineamento dei contenitori). Un
              quadrante graduato, in carta viene applicato in apposito spazio, perchè un carbone
                                scrivente possa documentare graficamente il peso

                 ...da un disegno di Leonardo (1493) nasce l'idea che anticipa la bicicletta moderna.
 Essa è concepita in legno ed è prevista con un sostegno fisso per appoggiare le mani, di una forcella anteriore e
posteriore, collegate da uno snodo che consente l'orientamento, due pedali che azionano una ruota che, attraverso
                          una cinghia, consente il movimento della grande ruota posteriore

                                                BICYCLE
                      …from a drawing by Leonardo (1493) comes the idea that anticipates

                     the modern bicycle. It is designed in wood and is provided with a fixed

                         support to sustain the hands, a front and rear fork, connected by a
                       joint that allows orientation, two pedals that operate a wheel that,

                           through a strap, allows the movement of the big rear wheel

CARRO ARMATO
...il movimento del carro è garantito da otto uomini che azionano, dall'interno, un sistema di ingranaggi collegato
              alle quattro ruote. La direzione del fuoco poteva essere decisa dagli uomini posti nella
                            parte alta del carro, da dove attraverso delle strette fessure,
                                        potevano vedere il campo di battaglia
