Annual General Meeting – April 28th, 2019
The Annual General Meeting will take place on Sunday, April
28th at 2:00 pm in the Main Hall of the ICCA. All ICCA members
are invited to par ticipate in this impor tant meeting!
Festa della Mamma e del Papà – Mother ’s and Father ’s day –
May 11th, 2019
La festa della mamma e del papà si celebrerà sabato 11 maggio
con una cena speciale (vedi poster con menù). Sarà una serata
dedicata a celebrare tutte le famiglie.
Mother ’s and Father ’s Day will be celebrated on Saturday, May
11th with a special dinner (see poster with menu). It will be an
evening dedicated to celebrating all the families.
Una Serata al Fresco: Antipasti e Vini – May 24th, 2019
Venerdí 24 maggio dalle 6:30 alle 9:00 celebreremo la primavera
con una Serata al Fresco. Antipasti e vini italiani saranno ser viti
in un’atmosfera piacevole e rilassante. Dettagli sui vini e il
menù saranno comunicati più tardi. Prenotatevi presto perché

Af ter spending 10 years in the coffee industr y in
Australia having a huge passion for coffee and
the culture around it, Federico decided he wanted
to give the locals of Halifax and surrounds a little
taste of Italy by per fecting his espresso and having
a place people can come unwind, chat and touch
up on their Italian if need be.
Federico is currently in the midst of expanding
his espresso bar to include more Italian fare and
vibrant patio.
In this issue, we are pleased to present a new
series where we will highlight local businesses
run by members of the ICCA. We will also be

Come ogni anno i bambini della Scuola di lingua hanno Sabato 16 Mar zo per la seconda volta un gruppo di membri
celabrato la festa di Carnevale. Sono venuti in costume, hanno dell’ICCA si sono ritrovati al BMO centre per giocare a calcio e

As in past years, the children of the Italian school celebrated
Carnevale. They came in costume, sang, played games and ate On Saturday March 16th, for the second time a group of ICCA
