SHAPED TECHNOLOGY CONCERT PREVIEW
CONCERT si ispira alle scacchiere ed alle composizioni geometriche in bianco e nero tipiche delle pavimentazioni delle
più altolocate case olandesi del 1600.
CONCERT is inspired by the chessboards and geometric black and white compositions typical of the floors of the highest Dutch houses of
the 1600s.
Jan Vermeer è stato l’artista che più a saputo valorizzare questi ambienti ritraendo nei suoi dipinti scene di vita quotidiana,
tutti accumunati dalle pavimentazioni in bianco marmoreo di Carrara ed il tipico nero delle fiamminghe pietre blustone.
Jan Vermeer was the artist who has been able to enhance these environments, portraying in his paintings scenes of everyday life, all of them
sharing the Carrara marble white flooring and the typical black of the Flemish blustones.
Fra queste opere troviamo The Concert, pregevole dipinto a cui facciamo riferimento con questa collezione sviluppando
un progetto di formati modulari, mosaici e pezzi speciali per arredare ambienti di tendenza, rievocando un periodo di
sfarzo culturale ed architettonico che vedeva nel triangolo formato da Olanda, New Amsterdam (l’attuale New York) e
Gran Bretagna (re Guglielmo III d’Inghilterra era olandese) la sua massima espressione.
Among these works we find The Concert, a valuable painting to which we refer with this collection developing a project of modular formats,
mosaics and special pieces to furnish classic sophisticated environments,evoking a period of cultural and architectural magnificence that saw
in the triangle formed by Holland, New Amsterdam (the current New York) and Great Britain (King William III of England was Dutch) its highest
expression.

Il dipinto, acquistato da Isabella Stewart Gardner per la
sua collezione privata, è stato rubato, insieme ad altre
opere d’arte, nel marzo 1990 ed è considerato il più
prezioso dipinto tra quelli attualmente dispersi, con un
valore stimato di oltre 200 milioni di dollari.
L’FBI è riuscito a rintracciare alcuni movimenti della
proprietà rubata, ma finora i tentativi di recuperare il
lavoro si sono rivelati infruttuosi.
La casa della Gardner, che è diventata un’ importante
museo di Boston, secondo il testamento diede
disposizioni per lasciare tutto invariato, mostrando
ancora oggi, nelle stanze dei dipinti rubati, le sole cornici
vuote.
The painting, purchased by Isabella Stewart Gardner for her private
collection, was stolen, along with other artworks , in March 1990
and is considered the most precious painting among those currently
missing, with an estimated value of more than 200 million dollars.
The FBI has managed to trace some movements of the stolen
property, although attempts to recover the work have so far proved
unsuccessful.
Gardner’s home, which has become an important museum in
Boston, in accordance with the testamentary dispositions to leave
everything unchanged, today displays only the empty frames in the

• Le confezioni contengono il prodotto con diverse sfumature di tono. Al fine di ottenere il migliore effetto estetico, si consiglia, durante la posa, di prelevare le piastrelle alternativamente
da scatole diverse e di posarle in senso ortogonale l’una all’altra.
The boxes contain the item with different shade variegations. When you lay down the tiles, in order to obtain the best blend of the colours, we advice you to take the tiles alternatively
from different boxes and lay down orthogonally one to the other.
• Per i formati rettangolari consigliamo una posa sfalsata massimo di 1/4 della lunghezza.
For the rectangular sizes we suggest an installation pattern at a maximum of 1/4 of the entire lenght.
• Bordi rettificati: nella posa mono e multi-formato è consigliato prevedere fughe di almeno 2 mm.
Rectified edges: when you lay down single and multi sizes it is suggested to use grouts of at least 2 mm.
