Here at Rome International School we know that the life of the school
has to go well beyond the school day. Our students can practise a
sport, a musical activity, augment their studies, learn a language or
simply do something that is fun and educational. This programme
reaches out to all ages and interests, including mums and dads. It
embraces inclusivity, diversity and develops the qualities of the
IB Learner Profile, which helps students to become responsible
global citizens who can help shape the world.

Useful information
Rome International School’s extracurricular activities are scheduled to begin
on Monday 28 September 2020 and will end on Friday 11 June 2021. The
activities will follow the term dates and school closure, as indicated in the
school calendar, available at this link.
For more information on school policies including health and safety
guidelines, please download our reference guide for September 2020.
POINTS TO NOTE:
1) The deadline for registration is Friday 25th September and clubs begin on
Monday 28th September.
2) The cost for each club is annual and non-refundable. Fees must be paid in
full by 25th September.
3) From 21st to 25th September it will be possible for students to participate in
trial lessons, with a parent or carer accompanying them to the selected
lessons.
4) Please note: Codemotion trial days will run only from 14th September to
Friday 18th September.
5) Classes will generally run from 15:30 until 18:00. A late bus will be available
for students - over 7 years of age - who attend after school clubs.
6) A minimum of six (6) participants must register in each club or it will be
cancelled. There are also maximum numbers of enrolment for each club.
7) Children who are disruptive and uncooperative will receive a warning from
the teacher and if this behaviour continues, they will be asked to
discontinue the course.
8) If a student is not able to attend a scheduled private music lesson, the
teacher must be informed at least 24 hours in advance. Should this
absence not be communicated, the missed lesson will be deducted from the
total number of lessons purchased.
9) A medical certification for sport activities is required for students who above
11 years of age.
10) All of the activities are also open to external students, who will be required
to submit a specific application form.
