a guide for foreign citizensPer inserirsi efficacemente nella realtà del nostro Paese e della nostra società e per “vivere in salute” è importante conoscere l’organizzazione del Servizio Sanitario Regionale e le sue regole. Chi appartiene a un diverso mondo culturale, infatti, può incontrare alcune difficoltà nell’accedere ai nostri servizi sanitari. Questa guida nasce proprio dalla consapevolezza che molti cittadini stranieri hanno bi- sogno di capire cosa fare per usufruire delle prestazioni sanitarie e di sapere cosa offrono l’ASL di Como e gli Ospedali del territorio. È una guida che vuole risolvere i problemi pratici, quali ad esempio l’iscrizione al sistema sanitario regionale, la prenotazione di visite ed esami, l’accesso al pronto soccorso, il rico- vero ospedaliero, ma, soprattutto, fornire le informazioni e le conoscenze indispensabili per la tutela della salute individuale e dell’intera collettività. Fortemente voluto dall’ASL di Como e dall'Azienda Ospedaliera Ospedale Sant'Anna di Como, realizzato in collaborazione con la Cooperativa Chance e con il contributo della Regione Lombardia e dei LIONS provinciali, è uno strumento sintetico, pratico, il più pos- sibile esaustivo, consultabile in 6 diverse lingue: inglese, francese, spagnolo, arabo, turco e cinese. To fit effectively in the reality of our country and society and to “live in good health” it is important to know the organization of the Regional Health Service (Servizio Sanitario Regionale) and its rules. Who belongs to a different cultural world, in fact, may face some difficulties in accessing our health services. This guide in born from the awareness that many foreign citizens need to understand what to do to benefit from the health services and to know what the ASL of Como and the hospitals of the area can offer. This guide wants to solve practical problems as, for example, to enrol to the regional health system, booking for tests and examinations, to access to the Emergencies department, hospitalization, but, more importantly, to provide information and essential knowledge to protect the health of individuals and of the whole community. Strongly driven by the ASL of Como, by Sant’Anna Hospital have been created with the collaboration of Co-operative Chance and the contribution of Regione Lombardia and provincial LIONS, this guide is a concise and practical tool, as comprehensive as possible, available in 6 different languages: English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Turkish and Chinese.
