Chi siamo / About us
Hammer srl festeggia quest’anno il suo 10° anniversario dalla sua fondazione nel 2005.
HMR Helmets® è frutto dell’esperienza acquisita in questi anni da Hammer Srl in qua-
lità di produttrice di caschi da sci. Sotto la regia di unico proprietario, Giuseppe Rizzi-
tiello e della sua famiglia, si esprime come azienda artigianale di qualità nel rispetto di
morale etica e responsabilità sociale che la contraddistingue. Ogni casco viene realiz-
zato artigianalmente utilizzando manodopera italiana, nel rispetto della filosofia del
prodotto “Fully Made in Italy”. La conoscenza dei materiali e l’utilizzo della tecnologia
unita all’esperienza artigiana ha portato l’azienda a ritagliarsi un ruolo di spicco tra i
produttori di caschi da sci, snowboard e boardercross.
This year, Hammer Srl is celebrating its 10th anniversary from its foundation by Giuseppe
Rizzitiello and his family in 2005. HMR Helmets® is the result of the experience acquired in
these years by Hammer srl as a prestigious ski helmets manufacturer. The Rizzitiello family’s
enterprise wants to distinguish itself as an artisan company, which respects the moral ethics
and the social responsibilities, while offering high quality products. Every single helmet is
handcrafted, using Italian skilled labor, respecting the philosophy of the “fully made in Italy”
product. The knowledge of the materials and the technology combined with the artisan ex-
perience have led the company to gain a leading position among the producers of ski, snow-

Ricerca e sviluppo / Innovation and Design
La progettazione di un casco è uno degli aspetti più importanti del nostro lavoro, per
questo il TEAM ricerca e sviluppo è coordinato dal nostro art director Massimo Fac-
chinetti, con una esperienza a 360° nel product e graphic design al fine di acquisire e
portare innovazione anche da altre esperienze ed integrare la migliore ed la più avan-
zata ricerca su materiali e forme. HMR Helmets® crea i propri caschi basandosi sulle
nuove tendenze ed elaborando così nuove soluzioni su tre principi, sicurezza, innova-
zione e igienizzazione. Il modello è analizzato sotto il profilo estetico e funzionale ma
deve rispettare le prove di massima efficienza alla resistenza alla sicurezza e comfort
ergonomico e attraverso un processo di reverse engineering sono eseguite le messe
a punto necessarie per la definizione e per l’omologazione del casco ai massimi livelli
con innovazione nei materiali più leggeri e performanti dal mix design materico.

Sicurezza e omologazioni / Safety and approvals
La sicurezza è uno gli obiettivi dell’azienda HMR Helmet®, non solo ai fini della pura
omologazione. Ogni casco è sottoposto a numerosi e accurati test capaci di provarne
l’uniformità ai parametri imposti dalle normative nazionali e internazionali, al fine di
garantire sempre la massima sicurezza possibile ai nostri clienti.
Tutti i nostri caschi hanno ottenuto omologazione CE EN 1077 – Classe A.
I caschi di classe A hanno superato prove d’impatto estreme con parametri più rigidi
rispetto a quelli in classe B e quindi, sono più adatti a chi pratica sci e snowboard in
modo intenso e agonistico. I caschi di classe A proteggono una superficie più ampia e
quindi danno allo sportivo una protezione nettamente superiore.
Safety is one of the goals of the HMR Helmet® company. Each helmet is subjected to nume-
rous and accurate tests that can prove its uniformity with the parameters set by national and
international standards, in order to ensure maximum safety to our costumers.
All our helmets have obtained CE EN 1077-CLASS A approval.
The helmets in Class A have passed strenuous impact tests with more demanding parame-
ters than those for Class B. Therefore they are more suitable for those who ski and snowbo-
ard in an intense and competitive level. Class A helmets protect a larger area and offer the
athlete clearly superior protection.

La tecnologia brevettata SFR (Solid Fragrance Release) by Oikos Fragrances è in esclu-
siva solo per il gruppo HMR Helmet® e permette di utilizzare note olfattive che ven-
gono diffuse naturalmente, per semplice ventilazione all’interno del casco. Il sistema
Oikos Fragrances garantisce caratteristiche qualitative, estetiche e funzionali netta-
mente superiori rispetto ai processi tradizionali di nebulizzazione, riscaldamento o
evaporazione di profumo o fragranza in fase liquida. La nota olfattiva HMR Helmet
è arricchita con molecole che hanno funzioni scientificamente provate per la sanifi-
cazione ed soprattutto per la igienizzazione, garantendo durante l’uso ed a riposo la
neutralizzazione di batteri malsani, causa di odori sgradevoli.
The patented SFR technology (Solid Fragrance Release) by Oikos Fragrances, exclusive only
for HMR and the ZERO35 brand, enables use of essences and perfumes at the solid state.
These fragrances are naturally released by the ventilation system that is normally present
in the helmet. The Oikos Fragrances system offers qualitative, aesthetic and functional cha-
racteristics far superior than those given by the spraying, heating and evaporation process
of the fragrance in the liquid state. The HMR Helmet fragrance is enriched with scientifical-
ly proven sanitizing molecules that guarantee the neutralization of bacteria, which cause
unpleasant odors. Thanks to this feature, the helmet will stay scented, fresh and sanitized

Processo produttivo / Production
Stampaggio / Molding
Le calotte esterne composte di fibre composite (fibra di vetro, carbonio e Kevlar®)
vengono realizzate con un procedimento meticoloso; realizzata in composito stratifi-
cata a mano, abbinando strati diversificati in fibra di carbonio e Kevlar® che vengono
stampati/polimerizzati sottovuoto in autoclave in ambiente controllato. L’impiego di
questi innovativi materiali compositi e i procedimenti realizzativi permettono di ot-
tenere un prodotto di altissimo livello, con caratteristiche di leggerezza e resistenza
uniche sul mercato. Si utilizzano resine epossidiche di alta qualità, certificate e omolo-
gate. Le calotte esterne in termoplastica sono realizzate attraverso un articolato pro-
cesso di fusione che vede combinarsi perfettamente tra loro un insieme di polimeri di
policarbonato poi stampati all’interno di speciali stampi a iniezione. La calotta interna
è in polistirolo, ricavato attraverso un processo di stampaggio a vapore ad alte tempe-
rature. Le visiere sono stampate e poi trattate con processi rigorosamente antigraffio.

vati standard qualitativi l’azienda ha nella sua etica produttiva la tutela dell’ambiente
utilizzando solo verniciature all’acqua.
Le decalcomanie sono applicate interamente a mano, donando così a ogni casco HMR
Helmets® un design forte e riconoscibile, ma rispettando alti standard da azienda ma-
nifatturiera artigianale per l’alta produzione.
The external shells are coated and treated with UV filter in order to guarantee a high quality
product. Because HMR Helmets is always careful to protect the environment, during the
finishing processes the company chooses to use water based paints.
The decals, entirely applied by hand, give to the helmets of HMR Helmets® a fierce and
recognizable design.

Cucitura / Seam
Le imbottiture interne sono realizzate con materiali innovativi che garantiscono mas-
sima traspirazione e comfort. Le cuciture sono realizzate da mani esperte, assicuran-
do un ottimo comfort e calzabilità. Il prodotto finale è così caratterizzato da una gran-
de qualità e attenzione del dettaglio, tipica dell’ Handmade in Italy.
The liners are made with innovative materials, which provide maximum breathability and
comfort. The seams, made by expert hands, ensure optimum comfort and fit. The final pro-
duct is well characterized by high quality and attention to detail, which is typical of ‘handma-
de in Italy’ products.
Assemblaggio / Assembly
Lungo le linee di montaggio ha luogo l’accurato assemblaggio delle varie parti che
compongono ciascun casco HMR Helmet®. Prima e durante tale processo, eseguito
interamente a mano da personale specializzato, ogni singolo componente è metico-
losamente controllato ed eventualmente scartato anche alla presenza della minima
imperfezione.

nei nostri caschi e nel nostro sistema produttivo, per questo tutti i nostri importatori e
negozianti hanno la possibilità di visitare la nostra azienda per vedere in prima perso-
na le lavorazioni cui sono sottoposti i nostri prodotti. Questa esperienza li rende osser-
vatori in prima persona del nostro lavoro e testimonial dei nostri valori ai nostri clien-
ti. A fine ciclo un addetto prima del confezionamento ha il compito di provvedere ad
apporre l’approvazione di qualità dopo aver visionato ogni elemento del casco stesso.

11TECNOLOGIE DEI CASCHI HELMET TECHNOLOGIES Materiali e componenti / Materials and components Calotta esterna / External shell La calotta esterna è la prima difesa contro gli urti esterni, distribuendo l’energia d’impatto concentrata nel singolo punto su tutta la superficie, proteggendo sia la testa sia gli altri componenti del casco contenuti al suo interno. The external shell is the first defense against external shocks. It spreads the energy of the impact and it concentrates it in a single point on the entire helmet, protecting both the head and the other components of the helmet. Calotta interna / The core La funzione della calotta interna è quella di assorbire ogni eventuale colpo esterno e di- sperderlo, evitando che si trasmetta alla testa. La calotta è realizzata in polistirolo espan- so con struttura ventilata, che la rende leggera e resistente. The core has the function to absorb the energy of an impact, which it does through compression or destruction, in order to protect the head. The core is made with expanded polystyrene, the perfect material for a light weighted and shock absorbing helmet. Imbottitura / Padding L’imbottitura è realizzata con tessuto in microfibra con tecnologia Microsense con aggiun- ta del trattamento idrofilo 2dry che garantisce al tessuto la veloce dispersione del sudore e un asciugamento rapido. Il capo è inoltre trattato “Sanitized”: procedimento antimicro- bico, con protezione batteriostatica e fungistatica. La successiva foratura dello Shalimar e l’accoppiatura a schiume reticolate rendono l’imbottitura altamente traspirante. The padding is made of microfiber fabric with Microsense technology, which guarantee high comfort and softness. The addition of the hydrophilic treatment ‘2dry’ ensures a fast perspira- tion dispersion and a quick drying. The padding is also sanitized trough an antimicrobial process, which protects against bacteria and fungus. The subsequent drilling of the Shalimar and the use of reticulated foams make the padding highly breathable. A fundamental feature for the comfort of the skier is the ventilation system, which allows the
entry of fresh air and the simultaneous exit of the hot air and moisture. Our R&S Team studied
the quantity of air flow inside the helmet, in order to create new solution to guarantee the right
amount of air even in extreme conditions as the one of high altitude.

Le protezioni alle guance e orecchie morbide sono realizzate in materiale termoformato
e in ecopelle. Le aperture sono protette da rete in alcuni casi, per consentire la corretta
percezione dei rumori esterni; sono rimovibili per garantire il massimo comfort termico
anche nei periodi più caldi.
The soft cheeks and the ear pads are made of thermoformed material and faux leather. In some
cases, the openings are protected by nets, in order to allow the proper perception of the external
noise. They are removable for maximum thermal comfort even in the hottest periods.

ni di caschi in Limited Edition: design, artistica e moda. La collezione è il risultato di
una volontà ben precisa: caschi da sci in grado di raccontare una storia di passione e
ricerca, una storia di qualità e dedizione maturata in oltre 10 anni di storia HMR. Sono
caschi che tutti vorrebbero avere ma che potranno essere portati, indossati, vissuti in
edizione limitata.
To celebrate its 10th anniversary from its foundation, HMR Helmets® created three helmets
collections in Limited Edition: design, art and fashion. The ski helmets of the collections are
the emblem of the passion and research, quality and dedication that the company gained in
over 10 years of activity. These helmets are products everybody wants, but that can be worn
and collected in Limited Edition.

oggetto da collezione.

essa abbiamo espresso il valore etico dell’artigianalità con prodotti naturali, il valore

The packaging chosen for the Limited Edition helmets has not only the function to protect the
helmet, but it’s itself a collectible item. The box is made of fine wood heat-curved and brand
seared. Through the package, we want to express the craftsmanship with natural products,
the moral values with the involvement with the School of the Masters of Wood Enaip of Cantù.

Il corretto ricircolo d’aria e l’e- liminazione del calore interno in eccesso sono garantiti dal sistema di ventilazione costituito da 5 estrattori, protetti da rete in acciaio inox antintrusione e conforme all’omologazione CE 1077 - Classe A. Il casco è dotato di un sistema di chiusura con cin- turino con fibbia metallica e regolazione micrometrica a sgancio rapido. L’imbottitura è realizzata con tessuto in microfibra con tecnologia Microsense dalla delicata morbi- dezza ed elevato confort. L’aggiunta del trattamento idrofilo 2dry garantisce al tes- suto la veloce dispersione del sudore e un asciugamento rapido a contatto della pelle offrendo una gradevole sensazione di grande freschezza. Le decalcomanie arricchiscono la grafica del casco con finitura lucida e opaca, sono
resistenti e tridimensionali.
Il sistema di verniciatura è ecocompatibile: HMR Helmets® è da sempre attenta alla
tutela dell’ambiente, utilizza per le proprie finiture vernici all’acqua, non aggressive
per l’ambiente e in linea con la filosofia ecologica internazionale.
La nostra lavorazione a mano permette di applicare inserti con finiture pelle, carbo-
nio, tessuto e seta e inserti in metallo.
Altre caratteristiche sono la predisposizione per il montaggio della visiera (accesso-
rio venduto separatamente), omologate, non provocano distorsioni ottiche, in caso di
urto non si scheggiano.
I nostri caschi hanno ottenuto l’omologazione CE EN 1077 – Classe Class A, I caschi
di classe A hanno, infatti, superato prove d’impatto estreme con parametri più rigidi
rispetto a quelli in classe B e quindi, sono più adatti a chi pratica sci e snowboard in
modo intenso e agonistico. I caschi di classe A proteggono una superficie più ampia e
quindi danno allo sportivo una protezione nettamente superiore.

The decals, durable and thee-dimensional, enrich the graphics of the helmet and are
available with a glossy and opaque finish. The coating system is environmentally friendly:
HMR Helmets®, always careful to protect the environment, uses water based paints in its
finishing processes, safe for the environment and in line with the international ecological
philosophy.
Our handmade allows the application of inserts with leather, carbon, fabric, silk and metal
finishes.
Other features: visors and chin guard fittings on request (accessory sold separately),
approved, they do not cause optical distortions; they do not chip in case of impact.
Approved CE EN 1077- Class A. The helmets in Class A have passed strenuous impact tests
with more demanding parameters than those for Class B. Therefore they are more suitable
for those who ski and snowboard in an intense and competitive level.

Il casco H2 è fatto a mano in Italia e dispone di
una clip ferma maschera, con la quale è possi-
bile fissare la maschera al casco. L’estrattore
posto nella parte superiore del casco permette
un’adeguata e continua regolazione della ven-
tilazione per un maggiore comfort. Questo è
rafforzato da un’imbottitura traspirante e anti-
allergica. I paraorecchie hanno una ventilazio-
ne sufficiente che gli viene fornita dalla circola-
zione dell’aria nel casco. La visiera è antigraffio.
The H2 helmet is ideal for all snow lovers and for
all the people who wants to push their limits. The
H2 helmet, handmade in Italy, has a stop-mask
clip, which you can use to attach the mask to the
helmet. The air vent, located in the upper part of
the helmet, provides balanced and continuous ven-
tilation in order to provide great comfort. This is
also made possible by the use of breathable and
anti-allergic padding. The ear pads are ventilated
thanks to the airflow naturally present inside the
helmet. The visor is scratch- resistant.
