                         OUR HISTORY

Arezzo, 15 Marzo 1926: la storia dell’oro si fonde con quella di Carlo Zucchi e Leopoldo
Gori, i due “padri fondatori” della prima azienda orafa della città. Il 2 aprile del 1935
ricevono il primo marchio della provincia che, per esteso, coinciderà con il nome della
società: UNOAERRE (1AR). Negli anni successivi, varie generazioni di orafi, tecnici,
maestri e artisti hanno costruito e sviluppato una realtà economica nel settore, ancora
oggi unica al mondo. Da oltre 90 anni UNOAERRE è conosciuta nel mercato della
gioielleria come “l´azienda orafa di fiducia” e questo le ha permesso di diventare una delle
principali realtà mondiali.

Arezzo, 15th March 1926: the history of our company starts with Carlo Zucchi
and Leopoldo Gori, the two “founding fathers” of the first jewellery factory of
the town. On 2nd April 1935 they received from the provincial office the first
registered trademark of the gold industry: UNOAERRE (1AR). From its humble
beginnings, more than 90 years ago, UNOAERRE has achieved world leadership and
established its first-class reputation for quality and reliability, thanks to the efforts
of generations of goldsmiths and designers, supported by a dedicated commercial
back-office team.

notevole struttura produttiva. Tutte le creazioni vengono ideate, progettate e realizzate
esclusivamente nella storica sede di Arezzo, in Italia. Qualità, passione e inventiva fanno
di UNOAERRE una delle realtà più stimate del Made in Italy.

From its new fully integrated state-of-the-art facility, starting with gold ingots,
UNOAERRE creates finished jewellery of all carats and colours, using the latest
technology. All the UNOAERRE creations are exclusively formulated, designed and
created by our craftsmen in the historic headquarters of Arezzo, Italy. Quality, passion
and creativity make UNOAERRE one of the most respected company of Made in Italy.

IL MUSEO
                                THE MUSEUM

UNOAERRE, leader mondiale nel settore dell’oreficeria, il 7 Marzo 1988 ha inaugurato ad
Arezzo il suo Museo – primo Museo italiano dedicato all’arte orafa - per non disperdere la
memoria storica della sua laboriosa attività ed offrire un percorso espositivo dall’archeologia
industriale alle ultime creazioni di Giò Pomodoro. La collezione storica, con oltre 2000 opere tra
disegni originali, oreficerie e gioielli, alcuni dei quali pezzi unici che dagli anni ’20 raccolgono
gli ultimi bagliori della Belle Epoque, è una collezione che comprende più di 90 anni di storia
ed è ancora viva ed attuale grazie ad un continuo aggiornamento. Dallo stile ghirlanda agli
stilemi geometrici dell’Art Déco e ai gioielli autarchici di argento, di rame e vetri colorati degli
anni ’30, fino ai gioielli più rappresentativi delle collezioni contemporanee, la collezione del
museo UNOAERRE rappresenta per la sua unicità, un patrimonio futuro di arte e cultura orafa.

On 7th March 1988 UNOAERRE, international leader in the jewellery industry, opened its
own Museum in Arezzo. This is the first Museum in Italy dedicated to the goldsmiths art, aimed
at preserving the historical memory of the company, from industrial archaeology up to Gio
Pomodoro’s latest creations. The priceless collection, in excess of 2000 pieces, showcases jewels in
gold and silver, unique creations from the Belle Epoque, Art Déco’s geometrical designs, copper
jewels and coloured glasses from the Thirties. It covers more than 90 years of history and it is
kept relevant and up-to-date with continuous additions from the latest collections.
