THE INSIGHT ACTION
The INSigHT Action has the main aim to increase the capacity of key local
stakeholders in the Veneto Region (Italy), Edo State and Lagos (Nigeria) and
Stockholm (Sweden) to tackle human trafficking and to deal with its evolving
dynamics, trends, forms and modus operandi, with specific attention to women and
girls, while promoting knowledge-based policy making in the respective countries
and reinforcing transnational cooperation. This series of webinars has the main
goal of sharing the findings that have been emerging from the research conducted
by the INSigHT Action Research Team and to continue contributing to the debate
in collaboration with researchers, operators, law enforcement agencies, lawyers,
policy-makers, cultural-linguistic operators and all relevant actors.
IL PROGETTO INSIGHT
Il progetto INSigHT ha lo scopo principale di migliorare la capacità dei principali
stakeholder della Regione Veneto (Italia), degli stati di Edo e Lagos (Nigeria) e
dell’area di Stoccolma (Svezia) per affrontare il fenomeno della tratta di esseri
umani e far fronte alle sue dinamiche, tendenze, e modus operandi in continua
evoluzione, con attenzione specifica a donne e ragazze, promuovendo nel
contempo un processo decisionale basato sulla conoscenza e rafforzando la
cooperazione transnazionale. Questa serie di seminari ha l’obiettivo principale
di condividere gli esiti del percorso di ricerca dell’INSigHT Research Team e
di continuare a contribuire al dibattito in corso con ricercatrice e ricercatori,
operatori, forze dell’ordine, avvocati, istituzioni, mediatori linguistico-culturali e
tutti gli attori rilevanti.
* The Webinars will be held in English or in Italian, some with simultaneous interpretation, as indicated
in the program. They will be chaired by Michela Semprebon, Coordinator of the INSigHT Action Research
Team, in collaboration with Serena Caroselli, Serena Scarabello, Oluwafemi Moses Abe and Isabelle
Johansson, researchers of the INSigHT Research Team and Giovanna Marconi, Project Manager of the
INSigHT Action.
