Accensione
Premere per almeno 2 secondi il ta-
sto per accendere o spegnere il
palmare.Per evitare un inutile consu-
mo di batterie, dopo 5 minuti di inu-
tilizzo, il terminale si spegne da solo.
Il palmare viene impostato con un PIN di fabbrica al valore 1111, da inserire dopo la
procedura sopra descritta.
In caso di immissione errata del PIN per tre volte consecutive, il palmare si blocca
per 5 minuti, trascorsi i quali si potrà procedere ad un nuovo tentativo.
Modifica valori numerici
Utilizzare i pulsanti e per modificare la cifra evidenziata dal cursore lam-
peggiante, con il tasto si sposta il cursore sulla cifra successiva, e con il tasto
si sposta sulla cifra precedente.
Premendo quando il cursore evidenzia l’ultima cifra del valore, si conferma il
valore immesso.

Il menu chiave è composto di 5 voci.
L’abilitazione di questi sotto-menu
dipende dalla avvenuta lettura della
chiave, quindi se la chiave è di codi-
ce errato, o guasta, l’accesso ai sot-
to-menu è negato. I sotto-menu vengono visualizzati a secondo del tipo di chiave
utilizzata. Premendo il tasto si entra nel menu chiave.
Verifica la corrispondenza del codice
cliente memorizzato nel palmare, e
quello memorizzato sulla chiave.
Se il controllo è positivo visualizza il
contenuto della chiave utilizzando le
seguenti abbreviazioni.

C: numero di ricariche effettuate.
M: numero massimo di ricariche ef-
fettuabili.
Battute: numero di battute per rica-
rica (per esempio, un kit da 150 ero-
gazioni equivale a tre ricariche). Nel caso di “chiave operatore”, il numero di battute
caricabile, non è modificabile.
Premendo il tasto la precedente

sente, dove POP: è la sub-password

Con questa funzione potrà impostare
il numero massimo di ricariche effet-
tuabili con la “Chiave Operatore”.
Tale funzione è importante, perchè fis-
sa il massimo di utilizzi, utile in caso di
smarrimento della chiave.
Con questa funzione potrà azzerare il
numero di ricariche effettuate.
Quindi l’ utilizzo di una “Chiave Opera-
tore”, permette innanzitutto il controllo
della Sua clientela, ma se utilizzata
correttamente, potrà altresì controllare la Sua rete di collaboratori.

Esempio: se ogni giorno un mio collaboratore esce in tentata vendita con 20 Kit da
150, io programmerò la sua chiave con “60 Ricariche MAX”. A fine giornata potrò
controllare il numero di “Ricariche Effettuate”, e confrontarle con gli incassi. Il giorno
seguente basterà azzerare il numero di ricariche effettuate, e ripristinare il carico nel
furgone con 20 Kit da 150. Nel caso di smarrimento della chiave, avrò la certezza
che questa al massimo potrà raggiungere il limite di ricariche impostato, dopodichè
sarà definitivamente fuori uso.

Battute: Numero di battute caricate
sulla chiave, questo valore verrà tra-
sferito alla macchina per una sola vol-
ta. A differenza della “Chiave Operatore”, con la “Chiave a Perdere” le battute ven-
gono trasferite sia che questa venga inserita nella macchina accesa, sia che venga
inserita nella macchina spenta e poi accesa.
La “Chiave a Perdere” è rigenerabile attraverso il palmare.

Premendo il tasto la precedente
visualizzazione si alterna con la pre-
sente, dove POP: è la sub-password
da Lei impostabile (a tal riguardo La
invitiamo a leggere attentamente il
capitolo sub-password).

Se la chiave avesse già effettuato l’operazione di ricarica, in questa schermata com-
parirà un asterisco. Si potrà comunque procedere alla sua riprogrammazione. Pre-
mendo il tasto si esce dalla lettura della chiave e si può procedere alla sua
programmazione premendo i tasti e .

Con questa funzione potrà impostare
il numero di erogazioni effettuabili.
Su una “Chiave a Perdere” si posso-
no caricare un qualsiasi numero di
erogazioni fino a un massimo di 250.
Le battute caricate verranno comunque sommate a quelle già in memoria alla mac-
china.

Dopo avere acceso il palmare, immesso il PIN corretto, premendo il tasto por-
tarsi sulla schermata:
Il menu scheda è un complesso di
tre voci, che come nel caso del menu
chiave, vengono abilitate solo dopo la
lettura della scheda.
É innanzitutto necessario collegare,
attraverso il cavo in dotazione, il palmare con la scheda.

Verifica la corrispondenza del codice
cliente memorizzato nel palmare,
e quello memorizzato nella scheda
macchina. Se il controllo è positivo
visualizza il contenuto della scheda
utilizzando le seguenti abbreviazioni.
T: contabattute macchina (non azze-
rabile).
I: falso (illimitato-falso = deconto in-
serito).
I: vero (illimitato-vero = deconto di-
sinserito).
S: set point temperatura (temperatura di lavoro gruppo caffè).
P: codice POP è la sub-password da Lei impostabile (a tal riguardo La invitiamo a
leggere attentamente il capitolo sub-password).

Con questa funzione può abilitare
o disabilitare la funzione di deconto
della macchina. In ogni caso la mac-
china riporterà il numero di erogazio-
ni effettuate nella schermata di lettu-
ra della scheda.
Con questa funzione può modifica-
re la temperatura di funzionamento
della macchina. La schermata le pro-
porrà sempre 0080, ma il reale va-
lore di impostazione è quella visibile
nella schermata di lettura scheda.
N.B. La macchina gestisce la temperatura secondo il seguente criterio: All’accensio-
ne si porta a 5°C più del set-point impostato (di fabbrica 93°C). Quando eroga caffè,
tende a stabilizzarsi alla temperatura di set-point. Dopo 10 minuti di inutilizzo si
riporta a 5°C più del set-point impostato.

Dopo avere acceso il palmare, immesso il PIN corretto, premendo il tasto por-
tarsi sulla schermata:
Il menu terminale permette di mo-
dificare il PIN di accensione e il POP
(sub-password da Lei attribuibile al
suo sistema).
Modifica il PIN (codice accensione
palmare). Le suggeriamo di tenere il
PIN segreto, in quanto l’utilizzo in-
controllato del palmare, rende vano
tutto il sistema di controllo. Suggeria-
mo altresì di non lasciare incustodito lo stesso palmare.
Modifica il POP (sub-password).
Di fabbrica il POP è impostato a
0000 sia per le chiavi elettroniche,
sia per le schede macchina. Questo
significa che non è attivo.
N.B: Per procedere alla modifica del POP è necessario avere prima letto o la chiave o
la scheda.
13Manuale d’istruzione Palmare ITALIANO SIS TE M A D I SU B - PA S S WO RD Pensato per le aziende che vogliono tenere distinto il proprio parco macchine, divi- dendolo per zone, o operatori, o clienti-distributori. Attribuendo uno stesso codice POP ad una serie di macchine, ed a una serie di chiavi (sia Operatore che a Perdere), queste dialogheranno solo tra di loro, e non con altre eventuali macchine o chiavi riportanti un codice POP diverso. N.B. Nel caso vogliate attivare questo sistema, anche il parco macchine gestito direttamente da Voi dovrà avere un proprio codice POP, in quanto: • la macchina con codice POP dialoga con la chiave senza codice POP; • la macchina senza codice POP dialoga con la chiave con codice POP; • la macchina con codice POP non dialoga con la chiave con codice POP diverso. Una macchina inizializzata con una “Chiave Operatore” che contiene anche il codice POP, memorizzerà solo il codice cliente, e non il codice POP. 14

Start-up
Press the key for at least 2 se-
conds to switch the handheld on or
off. To save battery power, the termi-
nal switches itself off after 5 minutes
of inactivity.
The handheld is set with a factory PIN of 1111, which must be entered after the above
procedure.
If the PIN is entered incorrectly three times in a row, the handheld will lock for 5
minutes, after which you can try again.
Changing the numerical values
Use the and buttons to change the figure highlighted by the flashing
cursor, the button moves the cursor to the next figure, and the button
moves to the previous figure.
Pressing when the cursor highlights the last figure in the value confirms the
value entered.

KEY ME N U
The key menu has 5 options. Access
to these sub-menus depends on the
key being read, so if the key has the
wrong code or is faulty, access to the
sub-menus is denied. The sub-me-
nus displayed are based on the type of key used. Press the button to enter the
key menu.
It checks that the customer code sto-
red in the handheld device matches
the one saved on the key.
If the check is successful, it displays
the key data using the following ab-
breviations.

M: maximum number of top-ups
possible.
Credits: number of credits per top-up
e.g. a kit of 150 units is equivalent to
three top-ups. When using an “operator key”, the number of credits that can be ad-
ded cannot be changed.

vious display alternates with the pre-

sword which can be set by you (for

This function allows you to set the
maximum number of top-ups that
can be carried out with the “Operator
Key”.
This function is important because it li-
mits the maximum number of uses, which is useful if the key is lost.
This function allows you to reset the
number of top-ups carried out.
The use of an “Operator Key” allows you
to manage your client base, but if used
correctly, you can also use it to manage
your employee network.

For example: if one of my employees goes out every day with 20 kits of 150, I pro-
gramme his key with “MAX 60 top-ups”. At the end of the day, I will be able to check
the number of “Top-ups carried out”, and compare them with the receipts. The next
day, simply reset the number of top-ups carried out to zero and restock the van with
20 kits of 150. If the key is lost, I know it will only be able to carry out the set limit of
top-ups, after which it will be completely unusable.
I N CASE OF “ S I N G LE- U S E K E Y ”
C: Irrelevant.
M: Irrelevant.
Credits: Number of credits loaded on
the key, this number will be transfer-
red to the machine only once. Unlike
the “Operator Key”, with the “Single-use Key”, the credits are transferred whether the
key is inserted into the machine when it is switched on or whether it is inserted into
the machine when it is switched off and then turned on.
The “Single-use Key” can be reset using the handheld device.

This function allows you to set the
number of units that can be supplied.
Any number of credits can be loaded
onto a “Single-use Key”, up to a maxi-
mum of 250.
The credits loaded will be added to those already saved in the machine’s memory.
CARD ME N U (M AC H I N E )
After switching on the handheld device and entering the correct PIN, press the
button to display the screen:
The card menu consists of three op-
tions, which, as with the key menu,
are only accessible once the card has
been read.
First, the handheld device must be
connected to the card using the cable provided.

CARD P R O GR AM MI N G (M AC H I NE)
This function allows you to enable or
disable the machine’s deduction fe-
ature. In any event, the machine will
show the number of units dispensed
on the card reading screen.
This function allows you to change
the machine’s operating tempera-
ture. The screen will always show
0080, but the actual value is the
one displayed on the card reading
screen.
N.B. The machine regulates the temperature as follows: When switched on, it incre-
ases to 5°C above the set-point (factory setting 93°C). When it dispenses coffee, it
will stabilise at the set-point temperature. After 10 minutes of inactivity it returns to
5°C above the set-point.

The terminal menu allows you to
change the handheld device activa-
tion PIN and the POP (sub-password
for your system).
Change the PIN (handheld device
activation code). We strongly advise
you to keep your PIN secret, as unau-
thorised use of your handheld device
will render the entire control system
useless. We also suggest that you do not leave your handheld device unattended.
Change the POP (sub-password).
The POP is factory set to 0000 for
both the electronic keys and the ma-
chine cards. This means that it is not
active.
N.B: Either the key or the card must have been read to change the POP.
27Handheld operating instructions ENGLISH SUB - PA SSWO R D S Y S T E M Designed for companies that want to keep their machine networks separate, sub-di- viding them by area, operator or client-distributor. By assigning the same POP code to a series of machines and a series of keys (both Operator and Single-Use), they will only communicate with each other, and not with any other machines or keys featuring a different POP code. N.B. If you want to activate this system, the machines managed directly by you must also have their own POP code, as: • a machine with a POP code will communicate with a key without a POP code; • a machine without a POP code will communicate with a key with a POP code; • a machine with a POP code will not communicate with a key with a different. POP code A machine initialised with an “Operator Key” that also contains the POP code will only store the client code, and not the POP code. 28
