JACOPO BENASSI b. La Spezia, Italy 1970 Jacopo Benassi (La Spezia, 1970) collaborates with several magazines and is the author of various advertising campaigns. He has participated in many exhibitions and events - including venues like Tate in London, Palais de Tokyo in Paris, Institute of Italian Culture in London - and published several books. Among these: The Ecology of Image (1861 United, 2009); Gli aspetti irrilevanti (with Paolo Sorrentino, Mondadori, 2016) and The Eyes Can See What The Mouth Can not Say (Peperoni Books, 2017). Jacopo collaborates with directors and writers such as Paolo Sorrentino, Daniele Ciprì, Asia Argento and Maurizio Maggiani. He also managed the cultural program of a famous club in La Spezia, the Btomic, where he made several self-produced books and a zine linked to the alternative music world of the Btomic’s scene.
