        PER LO SVILUPPO DEL PROGETTO DI TELEDENTRISTRY NELL’AMBITO DEL PROGRAMMA EUROPEO INTERREG ITALIA-MALTA 2014-2020, già in elenco
        nella nota prot. n. 41352 del 16/05/2016.
        Teledentistry has recently been successfully introduced in Sicily and is currently this is expanding to improve the inter-professional network between
        the specialists in Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology of Sicily and Malta. Further to this, Sicily and Malta have joined forces to creat a “hub and spoke
        system” that includes the North African Mediterranean countries for cross-border cooperation.
        AIMS
        -To estimate the health costs/benefits for citizens and for the Regional Health System, not only in terms of distance and quality of life, but also of
        environmental impact.
        To project the workforce model as a cross-border cooperation with North African Mediterranean countries in order have "real-time consultation" and
        a “store and forward system” in medically-related oral conditions and pathologies of the oral cavity.
        -To estimate the health costs/benefits for this model as a cross-border cooperation system, not only in terms of distance and quality of life, but also on
        the environmental impact.
        - To consolidate a network of specialists in Oral Medicine and Pathology between Sicily and Malta in order to provide cooperation between both
        regions and to other countries, to improve the management of these patients and to provide them a better quality of life.

 2019   L’operatore sanitario (odontoiatra, igienista dentale) nell’esercizio della professione deve garantire gli standard più elevati di
        pratica medica e di professionalità per assicurare la cura della persona nel suo insieme. Il successo professionale deriva dalla
        combinazione efficace delle competenze mediche (cliniche e scientifiche) ma anche e soprattutto di quelle personali ed
        organizzative, nell’ottica di un’ottimizzazione del percorso terapeutico del paziente e del raggiungimento della capacità di gestire
        le attività cliniche in teamwork, unica realtà comprovata dalla letteratura scientifica per garantire il miglior management
        multidisciplinare.
        Sulla base di questa premessa, il Corso copre i fondamentali del “management” applicato al mondo medico. I partecipanti
        imparano gli strumenti di base per pianificare, organizzare ed eseguire le attività principali della propria professione. In quanto
        tale il Corso si rivolge ai professionisti di svariati campi e discipline. Infatti, a prescindere dall’area di specializzazione, il
        professionista moderno, al fine di avere successo in ambito clinico e soddisfazione personale, nello specifico, deve
        necessariamente apprendere come condurre il proprio percorso, sviluppare capacità di influenzare positivamente colleghi e
        pazienti, lavorare in squadra, negoziare accordi vantaggiosi, gestire conflitti, comunicare in modo efficace e promuovere il proprio
        brand personale. Queste aree fondamentali del successo professionale sono trattate sia in ambito teorico sia pratico. La
        metodologia didattica del Corso si avvale infatti di una serie di esercizi e simulazioni che hanno lo scopo di far applicare e
        praticare i concetti in base al contesto lavorativo e professionale.
