Doria Reception 3
The Doria reception system represents the synergic evolution of the series of Doria operative desks and of the Doria-glass semi-executive one. The product is characterized by simple geometric shapes, basically horizontal, and its main feature is the thickness contrasts between the vertical structural parts and the operating ones that have a reduced thickness. The intersection of the volumes of the various elements is another design characteristic: the side panels protrude strongly forward with respect to the frontal panels, reaching the external edges of the tops. Then, the tops overlap, in an asymmetric way, the frontal panels but not the side ones. On one hand, there is a system of vertical partitions characterized by a sandwich of panels in melamine, whose thickness reaches 53 mm (structural panel thickness 30 mm + set of frontal horizontal slats thickness 18 mm + 5 mm of gap); on the other hand, there are both wood conglomerate work tops in reduced thickness(18 mm), that optically seem even more “light” than they actually are, thanks to the fact of being raised from the underlying metal structure, and melamine tops with similar thickness as the worktops, or glass tops with a thickness of 10 mm. The tops, assembled to the brackets, are raised from the underlying panels in a similar way to what happens to the tops with respect to the metal legs. The tops making up the corner element intersect with a pattern intentionally opposite to the one of the underlying vertical panels. From a structural point of view, the reception system provides, in addition to the central legs with the second support that is installed before the edge of the worktop on the employee side, a series of side closing panels, which are supplied with the kit of brackets for fixing the metal beams and the leveling feet. To complete the support metal elements, a special leg with metal paneling has been designed to be used whenever the reception system includes a terminal countertop. Both the central leg and the terminal one have holes for fixing the front panels. The central and the terminal legs are made of pickled tubular metal with a rectangular section 70x20 mm and 2 mm thickness, laser cut and perforated. In the corners, to ensure high product quality, a wire welding is made, and then cleaned up with manual brushing to eliminate any impurities or aesthetic defects. The pairs of metal support beams are attached to the central legs or to the brackets for fixing the side panels, or to the terminal metal legs by using TSPEI M6X16 screws.The beams have a characteristic “C” section which gives them the right resistance to bending and must be assembled to the legs symmetrically with respect to the longitudinal axis, so that the open part of the “C” section is turned to the center of the work top. They are made of 2 mm thickness pickled sheet P11, the cutting and processing are carried out thanks to the process of punching and then of press-bending. To the metal beams it is possible to hook the cable trays, listed on the desks price list: their assembly can also take place after the assembly of the reception counter. 4 Doria Reception
All the metal parts are available in white finish RAL 9003, with a smooth matt effect created
thanks to a particular painting process which makes the painted surface perfectly uniform.
All the parts in melamine are produced in slightly veined white finishes or in the Doria oak finish
with ABS rounded edges in the same wood color.
The vertical components, both frontal or side panels, consist of a sandwich made up of a
30 mm thickness support panel and a kit consisting of 3 external horizontal slats having a
thickness of 18 mm, which can be attached to the support panel by means of simple bayonet
fittings. After having attached the slats to the structural panel, a gap of 5 mm is created
between these elements, while the gap between the horizontal slats will be of 10 mm.
The worktops have a depth of 600 mm and are available in the following lengths: 800 mm
-1200 - 1600 mm; they are fixed to the beams with TIBEIM6X10 screws. After the assembly,
they are raised from the underlying leg by a gap equal to their thickness.
The Doria Reception system has two different sets of upper tops: the first one is made
of melamine in the same finishes as the worktops; the second one is made of extra-clear
tempered glass, thickness 10 mm, back-lacquered in white, ecrù, moka, dark red, black
finishes. Even the tops, once assembled, are raised with respect to the structural parts.
The glass tops are attached to the support metal structure with the help of stainless-steel
spacers having a diameter of 30 mm and a height of 15 mm, glued to the glass top previously
back-lacquered. This production process allows you to have a glass top completely back-
lacquered in the desired finish without interruptions due to the presence of the glue points of
the stainless-steel spacers.
Doria Reception 5Il sistema di accoglienza Doria reception rappresenta l’evoluzione sinergica della serie di scrivanie operative Doria e di quella semidirezionale Doria-vetro. Forme geometriche elementari, a forte connotazione orizzontale, definiscono il prodotto la cui caratteristica consta nel porre in evidenza i contrasti di spessore tra parti strutturali verticali portanti e parti funzionali operative a ridotto spessore. Connotazione peculiare del design di questo sistema accoglienza è costituita dall’intersecarsi dei volumi dei vari elementi: i pannelli laterali sporgono fortemente in avanti rispetto a quelli frontali arrivando al filo esterno dei top i quali sormontano in modo non simmetrico i pannelli frontali, ma non quelli laterali. Ad un sistema di partizioni verticali connotate da un sandwich di pannelli in nobilitato melaminico il cui spessore composito raggiunge i 53 mm (pannello strutturale spess. mm 30 + set di doghe orizzontali anteriori spess. mm 18 + 5 mm di fuga) si contrappongono piani di lavoro in conglomerato ligneo a ridotto spessore (mm 18) resi otticamente ancor più “leggeri” in quanto sollevati dalla sottostante struttura metallica, e top in melaminico aventi analogo spessore dei piani di lavoro, oppure top in vetro aventi spessore pari a mm 10. Assemblati alle staffe di sostegno i top risultano sollevati dai sottostanti pannelli, in modo analogo a quanto avviene per i piani, rispetto alle gambe metalliche. I top costituenti l’elemento ad angolo si intersecano con andamento volutamente opposto a quello dei sottostanti pannelli verticali. Dal punto di vista strutturale il sistema accoglienza prevede, oltre alle gambe centrali con il secondo supporto rientrato, rispetto al filo del piano di lavoro dal lato operatore, una serie di pannelli laterali di chiusura che vengono forniti corredati dal kit di staffe per il fissaggio delle travi metalliche e di piedini livellatori. A completamento degli elementi portanti in metallo è stata progettata un’apposita gamba con pannellatura metallica da usarsi ogni qualvolta la composizione accoglienza preveda un piano consultazione terminale. Sia la gamba centrale, che quella terminale, sono dotate di fori per il fissaggio dei pannelli frontali. Le gambe centrale e terminale sono prodotte in tubolare metallico decapato avente sezione rettangolare 70x20 mm e spessore pari a 2 mm, tagliato e forato al laser. Negli angoli, onde garantire elevata qualità al prodotto, viene effettuata una saldatura a filo ripulita con spazzolatura manuale, in modo da eliminare ogni impurità o difetto estetico. Le coppie di travi metalliche di sostegno vengono rese solidali alle gambe centrali o alle staffe per il fissaggio ai pannelli laterali o ancora alle gambe metalliche terminali, mediante l’impiego di viti TSPEI M6X16. Le travi hanno una caratteristica sezione a “C” che conferisce loro la dovuta resistenza a flessione e vanno assemblate alle gambe in modo simmetrico, rispetto all’asse longitudinale, in modo che la parte aperta della sezione a “C” sia per entrambe le travi rivolta verso il centro del piano di lavoro. Sono realizzate in lamiera decapata P11 spessore 2 mm, il taglio e le lavorazioni vengono effettuate mediante punzonatura e successiva pressopiegatura. Alle travi metalliche è possibile agganciare i marsupi passacavi riportati sul listino scrivanie, il loro montaggio può avvenire anche ad asseblaggio già avvenuto. 6 Doria Reception
Tutte le parti metalliche sono disponibili in finitura bianco Ral 9003 effetto opaco liscio,
reso mediante un particolare processo di verniciatura che rende perfettamente uniforme la
superficie trattata.
Tutte le parti in nobilitato melaminico sono prodotte nelle finiture bianco leggermente venato,
oppure nella finitura rovere Doria e sono bordate con bordo in ABS in tinta con fili e spigoli raggiati.
Le componenti verticali, siano esse pannelli frontali o laterali sono costituire da un sandwich
composto dal pannello portante avente spessore pari a mm 30 e da un kit costituito da 3 doghe
orizzontali esterne, aventi spessore pari a mm 18, aggaiciabili al pannello portante mediante
l’impiego di semplici attacchi a baionetta. Agganciate le doghe al pannello strutturale si crea, tra
questi elementi, una fuga pari a 5 mm, mentre tra una doga orizzontale e la seguente la fuga
progettata è pari a 10 mm.
I piani di lavoro hanno profondità pari a mm 600, sono disponibili nelle lunghezze mm 800 -
1200 - 1600 e si fissano alle travi mediante viti TIBEIM6X10. Ad assemblaggio awenuto risultano
sollevati dalla gamba sottostante di uno spazio pari al loro spessore.
Il sistema accoglienza Doria Reception prevede due serie differenti di top superiori, la prima
realizzata in nobilitato melaminico nelle medesime finiture dei piani di lavoro ed una in vetro
temperato extrachiaro, avente spessore pari a mm 10, retrolaccato nelle finiture bianco, ecrù,
moka, rosso scuro, nero. Anche i top, una volta assemblati, risultano sollevati rispetto alle parti
strutturali.
I top in vetro sono resi solidali alla struttura metallica di sostegno mediante l’ausilio di distanziatori
Inox aventi diametro 30 mm e altezza pari a 15 mm incollati al piano in vetro, precedentemente
retrolaccato. Questo processo produttivo consente di avere un top in vetro completamente
retrolaccato nella finitura desiderata senza interruzioni dovute alla presenza dei punti di incollaggio
dei distanziali Inox.
